      Yes, it is a scary trend that I am seeing more often. It reminds me of the famous Martin Luther King, Jr. quotes. “Human progress is neither automatic nor inevitable… Every step toward the goal of justice requires sacrifice, suffering, and struggle; the tireless exertions and passionate concern of dedicated individuals.” and that is what many of the younger generation forgets…

    well the first generation had the gift of the process of planting – they were able to cultivate that soil and pound the earth around the sapling with a sense of meaning and the body balancing ions of nature – and so the shade later might be good – but the planting process – ahhhh – nice as well

    and they inherited other trees to use (ha – ha)
