If you don’t have a traditional pantry, get creative. Find an old piece of storage furniture that’s fit for holding food, and convert it into a freestanding pantry. The accent will look great displayed in your kitchen or dining room—and you can even save space by building it into the wall.

We did this in a previous house. My husband had an old Moroccan carved armoire that we put in our entry hall — we didn’t have space in our kitchen — and used for canned goods, rice and pasta. It looked great and added extra storage.

Moroccan carved armoire sounds, so bespoke, and creative. Thank you for sharing!

I love this. It’s beautiful! I don’t know why but seeing this makes me think of Shelia Johnson home although I’ve never seen it, I’ve just read her book! I know weird but it really does.

One of the things I enjoy about reading is that it allows the creative imagination to create the most interesting images. Have you ever watched Architectural Digest Open Door, or Home and Texture House Tours? I have found both shows interesting and inspiring.
