Rewards Card Program

Anyone else late to the credit card points train? I didn’t have a credit card until I moved to the U.S., so it was debit card all the way for me until a few years ago. Once I got one (secured because I had no credit!), I was terrified of using it. Fast forward to last month when, at dinner with two friends, they discussed how often they use their credit cards and the rewards they reap from the points. Then it hit me—I was essentially throwing away free money by not using my credit card regularly, right? Now I use it often, but am still cautious about keeping the balance low (though whether I succeed at that is up for debate…)

Positively PurgingI welcome your feedbacks in the comments and your likes and passing the real life wisdom on to others as I embark on this new venture of “positively purging“, as I know each of these pieces represents something…

  1. Lol! I love the last sentence. As Tab says, “that’s my business!” But yes, I use to use my Delta AE to pay all my bills throughout the month and then I’d pay it all off on the first. That’s back in the day when I use to work full-time. However, I don’t work much so I don’t get to use the benefits like I use to. But yes, if you’re wise you can make credit work for you!

Yes, credit can truly work for the wise. I pray no one is carrying a balance on their card at today’s interest rates, and if they are they have a solid plan to pay it off.

      • I have two bills with no interest thus I’m not paying off. And I have one, well let’s just say it is what it is and when I’m done with school and get my life together I’ll pay it off. I absolutely hate bills because honestly I hate working. 🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️
