Chicago Style Pizza

What do you get the person who has everything? Apparently, the answer is subscription boxes.  I received several types of subscription boxes, and they just keep coming. So, I felt I would share my “reviews –

Opening my door, my regular UPS delivery guy smiled, and said, “What time should I circle back tonight for dinner?” I laughed as we have this conversation often, which tends to happen when your spouse is a chef.  I asked him what was on the menu today. He held out a large box that read Giordano’s, I stood in shock.  I didn’t even know they shipped. For those who are not in the know Giordano’s is a world-famous pizza place in Chicago (they now have other locations) it’s the best of the best. Yeah, if you ask me about Lou Malnati’s I would also say, it’s the best because it really depends on the day, the mood, and how long the line is. I told my UPS guy he could stop back around 6 and bring the wine. He of course didn’t show, and it’s just small talk between friendly strangers. I did, however, shock my spouse with this gift.  The box contained three pies, one sausage, one pepperoni (this pie contain only one pepperoni which, decotalvey sat on top. What the hell) and one cheese. The short review, just like at the restaurant, takes 45 minutes to cook, smelled just as amazing. Taking my first bite I closed my eyes, and I swore I was sitting on the sidewalk on Rush Street. Would I recommend this pizza? Yes, okay maybe not the Pepperoni, and if you’re planning to visit Chicago add this to your itinerary.
