What would you change if you could I’ve been thinking about the difference between equality and equity: Equity gives every individual the same thing and says “Make it what you will, it’s yours to do with as you see freely. Whereas equity understands that some people need a little bit more to enable them to stand up the same ground as others – Example if your family came from money and you were given a $100 you know how to invest that $100, if you were not from a family of money and wanted to invest that $100 you have to check out some books from the library spend valuable time learning more about investing, and after some time save up enough to invest as the other individual already has an open account thanks to his family but you don’t so you have to educate yourself come up with that fee, and by the time you do invest your $100 the other individual is $10,000 and your $9,000 shorter so the question how do we even the playing field equity is important – Elizabeth Gulino
