Reading this story, Italian Cuisine Worth Going to Prison For I have hands down been one-upped. Have you? This story has two parts; one making you ponder the obvious question “where’s the weirdest place you ever had a meal?” The second is how Italy is turning around its prison system through teaching life skills and lowering its recidivism rate of minor offenses. They are paying intimates 1,000 euros (about $1,100) a month to work in the restaurant. It makes me wonder how America and other countries can lower the recidivism rate. To answer the question, though, I once ate an amazing fish taco sitting in a tree in Hawaii. I am sure that is mild compared to a prison and these other locations.
