I once expressed this to someone trying to sell me something computerish on line. He agreed and said it would take days to read the stuff, so no-one does.
That is true. I recall during graduate school, as a part of my research course, I did a study where I pulled a ton of commercials and edited it down to just the side effects. I then held a focus group around psych meds. I was amazed how many people laughed/mocked and not really listen to the effects and dangers of these drugs. I mean the devils is truly often in the details (terms and conditions).
