Thread a needle. Dip the end of a piece of thread in clear polish; when dry stuff, it can be easily pushed through a needle’s eye.
Seal Envelopes. Instead of licking the flaps, spread on a thin layer of clear polish. Press down and let dry.
Secure small screws paint a layer of clear polish over eyeglasses screws to keep them in place.
Keep labels smudge free coat the labels of outdoor items like mailboxes and potted plants with polish to keep them from smudging in most environments.
Preserve costume jewelry brush a layer of polish inside a ring to prevent it from turning your fingers green.

For envelopes, though, seems like a pretty expensive way to seal them. I just use a damp sponge 🙂
