Q: Can you mix different types of pepper plants in the same garden bed?
A: If you are growing them for the fruit (not saving seed) then you can plant different varieties in the same bed. Keep in mind that peppers should be spaced about 18 inches apart for the best growth and fruit production. Can I mix pepper plants? — Sharon May, OSU Extension master gardener
