Time is a created thing. To say ‘I don’t have time,’ is like saying, ‘I don’t want to.”
– Lao Tzu
Yes, it’s true, we all have things to do and places to be, obligations to take care of and deadlines to adhere to. And, with all the hours of the day, how do we spend our time? A quick tally might reveal how much is frittered away on seemingly superfluous activities that steal our time. How do we recalibrate our relationship to time? We begin by unraveling the illusion of speediness and slow down. Think about when we are falling in love, with another or some thing we love doing, how often time is forgotten, flowing fluidly with never-ending ease. We make choices that benefit our best behalf, not merely beholden to the constraints of time.
