WordPress, I came to enjoy the platform, and don’t mind paying a small fee to not have advertisements. The money makes me show up, post, and communicate with fellow readers and bloggers, but in the last several months something has stood out to me. A reader by the name of edwardlorilla2138tower  has “liked” hundreds of posts in a matter of minutes. I do not see a WordPress icon for edwardlorilla2138tower  on any of these posts. Nor do I see a link saying you can view their page. This is normal because not everybody has a page or maybe their page is private. However, I have to say, edwardlorilla2138tower ‘s constant blast of emails is irksome. I tried blocking edwardlorilla2138tower , to no avail. I learned WordPress does not block this individual email’s, but blocks everyone’s email because everyone who likes a post has the following email donotreply@wordpress.com. I appreciate this feature as we all deserve to remain anonymous if we like and not to have overwhelming inboxes. Next, I tried marking edwardlorilla2138tower  as spam, because I truly feel like if someone likes a hundred plus posts in a matter of minutes it’s spam. This worked for a while. Then edwardlorilla2138tower came back, vigorously. I marked him as phishing because really, what does this person want? I also wonder if this is a WordPress thing because after each “attacks” I always get an email saying I am near my limit, and I may need to upgrade. I have outreached to WordPress and have not received an answer on this matter. If they want me to upgrade, they need to find a better way to go about this. Has anyone else had any similar issues with WordPress? How did you fix them? Has anyone had encounters with edwardlorilla2138tower ? Does anyone have any other gripes about this platform? I have a few— like why my Instagram plug in doesn’t work, but let’s save that rant for another day.
