In the past, talking on the phone was reserved for more special times. A nook was a place to enjoy a conversation. Now with mobile phones, it is not a special thing to talk on the phone.

Older homes were truly built with charm, the newer ones seem very cookie cutter, and lack details and craftsmanship.
