Are you living within your means ?Are you using credit cards to pay for things you can’t afford? So many people have realized that, before the pandemic, they were spending way too much on things they did not need. The amount of money they were wasting became apparent when they were order to stop…well, doing things. Mindless spending on shared car services, personal care, fitness and travel has come to the light in the wake of the crisis. Cut back on those unnecessary purchases.

Very good advice. Great post

I can’t spend because I’ve had to put everything into my house. But honestly I don’t need to spend because it’s all work and study. But son doesn’t even think I should be doing stuff at the house. 🤦🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️. I love this tho. I’ve surely been this person before.

I think it is perfectly fine to put money back into your home as long as you are not going into debt. I also have heard the changes should help with the resale value, but if it’s your forever home design as you please. I think you may enjoy this post Extra Money and Home Projects.

I’ve started to consciously take notice of how much I spend on eating out. It’s fluctuates over the past five years, but I am working on reducing the amount of money I spend on food unnecessarily, do I can put more towards better things, like supporting the causes our church seeks to around the world.

Eating out is one of those expenses that adds up unexpectedly and quickly. When friends want to hang out, I often suggest a walk, as it’s more about spending time together then spending money if they do suggest dining out. I opt for a happy hour, or late-night dining. I also learned to make and/or bring my own snacks. You may enjoy this post Cutting Corners at the Grocery Store.
