Ditch your sponge for good. Your kitchen sponge is one of the dirtiest items in your house. The rule of thumb is to replace the germ sack once a week but do one better and switch to a silicone or machine-washable option. Cleaner and eco-friendly? We love to see it.

Thanks, I’ll look into this. Although I don’t use a scrub now. Since I’ve learned to use my dishwasher I’ve not washed not one dish. It’s been a year now.

That is impressive. I can’t imagine a year without washing a few dishes, because the stemware, cast iron, and vintage dishes are a not dishwasher friendly. These “scrubbers” are a wonderful for washing dishes, but also wiping down counters, and cleaning up spills.
