  1. We actually do just that – with book ends – only a few, now – when I did the cooking I had a lot; when Jackie, who doesn’t use many, took over she gave all mine to a Charity Shop

    We do this too. We built a large bookshelf along one side of our kitchen island, so the books are not only accessible but add color to the room.
