Find Your Focus

I feel like I can’t even pay attention anymore.
It’s hard for me to stay focused on one thing.
My mind is always going in a thousand different directions.

We live in a world of constant distraction. Our lives are busy and demanding. Our phones and computers are constantly dinging with alerts and reminders. At any given time we’re surrounded by screens and sounds, all vying for our attention and energy.

It’s harder than ever to stay focused. But we also know the price of living distracted—we feel fatigued, fragmented, and irritated. It’s difficult to get things done. We miss out on opportunities for real connection. As the days go by in a blur, we often don’t notice or enjoy much of anything.

I agree, and apparently were not alone in this thinking as I recently read this quote “We don’t have a choice on whether we use smartphones. The choice is how we use them.”— Catherine Price, author of How to Break Up with Your Phone —Thanks for taking the time to read and comment!
