Abby and I have gone to Street of Dreams for probably the last 10 years. It is a summertime event showcasing the newest trends and most innovative ideas for luxury home building, architecture, interior design, and landscaping… all on one street. Each luxury show home ‘competes’ for your vote on a variety of ‘best’ categories such as kitchen, interior design, home technology, landscaping, architecture, master suite, etc. It is just jaw dropping- amazing and fun. You explore at your leisure and take notes about all the changes you plan to make to your own house as soon as you get home. It’s the perfect girlfriend activity. We both lost it when we spotted a bathroom done in beveled tile. We joked and laughed and said we have arrived. I can’t wait to see what houses are chosen for next year! Has anyone else been to a decorators’ show house or stunning garden tour?
