When a client asks me a question I don’t have an answer to, I always reply with “I don’t know, but I will find out”. I think this shows honesty and respect as no one wants to be bullshitted. It is also a good learning opportunity for the both of us- which brings me to you for help. You see, I have posted countless culinary challenges. I like to think they have all been a successful. Well, today I was restocking my bar cart, and I found this Brickford’s Sarsaparilla soda. I bought this beverage a loooong time ago and have no clue what to do with it. My spouse the chef has some ideas. YES, I love him but I thought you and I the everyday cooks could figure this one out. What would you make with this beverage (it does not have to be a cocktail) that tastes like black licorice (yuck!). No, I didn’t know it tasted that way; after all, it was a culinary challenge. I welcome your ideas and suggestion and as soon as I have a good one I will whip something up and post it.
