In the last few weeks my mail box has turned into the photo below. I thought I would blog this week on giving. What do you do when charities start to hit you up for donations? I ignore them and simple collect my plethora of greeting cards and wrapping and pass them on to my local family shelter, along with a Costco roll of postage stamps and box of hot cocoa packets. Shouldn’t we all have the opportunity to share a note of joy during the holidays?

In order to not let my mom give away what little she has, I throw them all away at the mailbox so she never even sees them! 😂

That is smart as many prey on the elderly especially those on fixed incomes.

Oh yeah! Plus she likes that she doesn’t have to walk across the neighborhood to pick up the mail 😂
