Spring is here! I don’t just know this because the calendar and weather are saying so, but because I got my invite to the BIG edible garden sale. I think the lady in front of me summed it up best. It is like Costco for gardeners. Granted, it is only a two day event, but these sales can be fun and overwhelming. As you plan your garden, let me share some basic tips.
Creating an edible garden is something you can do anywhere. It really all is in the soil. As a college student I grew herbs in the windowsills of a tiny, studio basement apartment. There’s something about a plant you grew yourself that just tastes better on a plate. Now I have a whole strip of land. From April until November, we have fresh veggies on hand.
