If you have a room with a low ceiling, put up striped wallpaper or curtains- it will feel a foot taller.

Nice tip and surely it will come handy but for now how do you deal with a huge space when you only have few furniture?

I too have the problem of huge space we remodel our great room last year. My best advice is to start with a focal point/ statement piece to anchor the room. That could be a rug, light fixture, or even paint color. From there start to layer your new furniture pieces. Don’t feel like you have to purchase it all at once. We still haven’t found a side table, sofa table or bar stools. With the furniture you have,play around with the arrangements.If the furniture isn’t arranged right, even the most beautiful of rooms can fall short.

Thanks a lot… I will try to work with what I have at the moment and I think bright colours and light fixtures might work very well so you right putting what you have right might work better than putting all new furniture the wrong way.
