“When you are a mother, you are never really alone in your thoughts. You are connected to your child and to all those who touch your lives. A mother always has to think twice, once for herself and once for her child.”―

Positively Purging-I welcome your feedbacks in the comments and your likes and passing the real life wisdom on to others as I embark on this new venture of “positively purging“, as I know each of these pieces represents something…
Wow – had no idea Sophia said that nugget – and whew – it is so true –
Also – I wanted to ask you a question – I am trying to get 100 folks to share a tip about “enjoying employment”
– it is for a small book project and I had authors pull out and needed another section – and well – I was wondering if you had a little nugget (or your many tips offered out) to share about how some one can get More from their work ?

It is a true nugget about parenting.
What an interesting project. I would suggest you investigate why authors are pulling out, something tells me that this is the idea to your next section of your project. – I don’t think people should “aim to get more out of work” (we are not defined by our jobs) I am a firm believer we should aim for, instead, is to work at a level of sustainable high performance – that is performing at a level that doesn’t require burning the candle at both ends. Being able to do this requires looking at one’s whole life – food, rest, social arrangements, and relationships. This involves viewing work from a holistic perspective. It is also the essence of the Blog Real Life of an MSW…

Ahhhh
That sure is the essence I get here – I love how you worded all that-
And I would love to add that to the book.

And the quick version of the book – I was trying to do a summer project with four students actually only two dropped out (both because of the timeline as I was trying to have it done by a certain time) and one I invited to do another project – and that is going well.
Anyhow – it is going pretty well but it needed something – and think I found what it needed – if not – just keep letting the idea simmer

I am glad that you as a reader understand my holistic perspective. I am sure your project will blossom into something more than you can imagine. I offer you one of my many tips, “When you shift your attitudes you can transform your work.”
