Excerpt from a Career Journal: Something New

 ______research branch is totally different from the main campus. Today at orientation I felt at ease; no heightened reactions, anxiety, or anger. I found the resources institution fascinating. I can see myself in this role as a research therapist helping make groundbreaking discoveries on youth and suicide ideation. Lord, I ask that you equip me with the skills I need, and that you speak through me, and that you use me as you see fit.

Looking back, this was one of my dream jobs as it allowed me to obtain free clinical supervision, I interacted with interdisciplinary teams, made a very livable wage, and I learned plenty in regards to suicide prevention programs, grants, contacts, and legislation.
