While 2020 was certainly challenge for a myriad of reasons, one bright spot was reconnecting with a childhood friend.  I got so emotional when she reached out, because I instantly recalled the joy of our friendship had brought me as a kid. When we finally connected, I opened up about my struggle as working mother, and she willingly offered to lift a bit of the burden. I’ve been. Experiencing with my daughter remote learning-schedules. She began an educational Zoom lesson with my daughter, and it’s something we look forward to every week. I am beyond grateful to have her in my life again. -Monique Valeris
