What do these words have common (other than having three letters) bee, sea, eye, jay, pea, cue, are, tea, you, why?

Each word is pronounced exactly like a letter of the alphabet

      The riddle was told to me by an acquaintance, and I thought it too funny not to share. I am unsure if Chaplin is the originator of the riddle, but if so, he is funny aloud as he was silent.

    I’m so sorry, I meant the sentence “A day without laughter is a day wasted”. Thank you for sharing the riddle, it’s really funny (we can’t have in Italian 😉
