Start with an Empty Dishwasher…”Always start a party with an empty dishwasher! That way you don’t end up with a dirty pile of dishes in the sink with nowhere to go. Plus, guests are often willing to pitch in on dish duty, and having an empty dishwasher to start makes the task a lot easier.” —Jenny Hughes

One of the best life tips, ever 😊

Yes, it’s also great for those who love to help. You can simply say please put your dish in the dishwasher, or yes, you can help by unloading the dishwasher and stacking the dishes on the counter for guests to use.

I’ve had a dishwasher every since I left Chicago, however after ALL these years, my first time using one was when I redid my kitchen a couple years ago. Now I run it daily. I can’t not having one.

Dishwashers are amazing time savers. Just remember to clean out the filters, and wash the dishwasher itself at least once a month to keep it in working order.

I do wash it monthly but I’ve not changed the filter. Where is it?

I would consult your owner’s manual. I have a Frigidaire Gallery 24” Built-In Dishwasher with Dual OrbitClean® Wash System “, and it has two filters in the bottom, one you can simply pull out and rinse, and the second one you must unscrew by hand, along with the lower control arm that is the one with all the gunk.
