I read something many years ago to make a thank you list for your parents of every memory that you can recall that you want to thank them for. I made one for my dad and one for my mom. I started with my earliest memories and typed it. I worked on it over several weeks as things came to mind. By the time I was finished it was two single spaced pages of bulleted items.
I gave it to each of them as a Christmas present. My dad was not sentimental, but when he died, I found my thank you list in his box of cherished items. It really touched him. My mom is still living and I know she loved hers as well. It brought back precious memories for both of them.

Positively Purging-I welcome your feedbacks in the comments and your likes and passing the real life wisdom on to others as I embark on this new venture of “positively purging“, as I know each of these pieces represents something…
What a beautiful gesture 💞
