Meal time

“I’m sorry to say it, but we have food at home. Don’t go out just to go out. Definitely go out when you can, but make it worth it, like something you can’t cook at home or a celebratory meal. Spend a couple of hours on a day off or an evening when you have a lot of energy and pre-chop veggies and make a batch of soup, enchiladas, lasagna, or whatever you have to do to set yourself up to cook quickly and easily later. It makes it easier to eat at home on those low-energy days.”

Positively Purging-I welcome your feedbacks in the comments and your likes and passing the real life wisdom on to others as I embark on this new venture of “positively purging“, as I know each of these pieces represents something…

Is “Who” short for “Whole Foods”? In my part of the world, we call it “Whole paycheck” because their prices are simply absurd. Which leaves many people asking who is shopping there on a regular basis.  —Thanks for taking the time to read and comment.

and with the quality of food being so poor at most places, like the industrial seed oils being everywhere, well home cooking does need to be done more – and many need reminders as to how much easier it can then they might think. And as you note – a lot cen be done in a “couple of hours on a day off or an evening”

  3. We do mostly eat at home, and sometimes chose what we couldn’t cook at home, but there is very little of that now although we are surrounded by excellent restaurants and pubs. It is a treat to go out and not have to do the washing up.
