Goals are good to have. They give us a north star, whether it’s the small daily goals that get us through the day, or on the long horizon goals that get us to the end of our lives. But when goals become the sole source of your motivation, you may end up losing the soul source, which is not just what you do to get to where you want to go. It’s how and why you live the life you choose. As hunter S.Thompson says, “Beware of looking for goals: look for a way of life.”
