Last Call – Raspberry Cocktails

I have finally worked my way to the LAST flavored bottle of moscato- you can read about them here. Raspberry moscato was nearly perfection- it would have been if they would have upped the alcohol content. It had a beautiful hue, and smelled like freshly picked raspberries. In the spirit of this challenge, I have turned this fruit into a cocktail. Please let me know what you think. Cheers!

  • 1 box of raspberries
  • 1 lemon
  • 3 ounces of vodka
  • 3 ounces of lemonade
  • ice cubes
  • sugar to rim your glasses

Methodology :Muddle the raspberries. Strain with a cocktail shaker or cheesecloth. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the , vodka, raspberry puree, and half the fresh lemon juice;  lemonade andshake well. Rim glasses with lemon, place sugar on a plate. Press the rim of a chilled martini or rocks glass into the mixture to rim the edge. Strain cocktail
