I came across this goodness of ravioli at Trader Joe’s and my spouses asked “Isn’t it cheaper at Costco?” True, it probably was, but I knew I wanted to try this and I knew I had to elevate it to make him think it was a good buy or, more importantly, to prove to myself that it was good as it sounded.
- Ravioli
- ½ cup of mushrooms
- Parmesan
- 2 garlic cloves
- 3 scallions
- 1/4 cup flour
- Pike Place herbs
- 1 cupCream
- 3 Rosemary sprigs chopped
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add onion, garlic, and rosemary and cook until fragrant. Add cream, Herb’n farm , and flour and cook. When it begins to thicken, add ravioli and mushrooms and cook until light brown. Then add cheese and place in broiler until top is golden brown.
I’m a huge TJ’s fan, and generally find the prices comparable to Costco on a per-serving basis. Plus, the TJ portion sizes are perfect for two people vs the gigantic Costco amounts. Try their creamy chicken/poblano ravioli next time — so good!
