There is something to attractive in the Caribbean. But I don’t see it from the hotels. I find it in the streets. I see a hint of what Black life could be like if it were not tampered with. I feel when I’m there that all of my flaws revealed, as are my strengths. It’s like going to my mother’s house – there’s no way to hide it. It’s like going home. -Toni Morrison
