Thoughts of a Blogger: A Blogger’s Journal

A great quote should function like a flashlight, guiding the reader through darkness…a great quote is also short and catchy…it has to come from a place of meaning… A great quote just makes you say in your head an all-caps “YES!” That really what a great quote does it reminds you that you are alive.

I am currently trying to figure out my blog, which more of late has been filled with more reflections and comics than actual substance.  I know this is okay as lessons come in various sizes and mediums. In 2018-2019 I do want to have more of a social worker thread flowing through it. I also want to obtain more readers (I am truly blessed to have the ones I have now) and a better online presence. Though I do wonder how one does this well and stays anonymous. I am not anonymous because I am spinning a fictional tale, or I have done something extremely heinous or something extremely amazing. I am anonymous because what client, student, or organization wants to hear that you have a blog? I can just hear and see the fear as one thinks their privacy is being violated.

All the best figuring out your blog. Do what feels right, follow your heart and just let it evolve. Don’t be afraid to put yourself out there. 🙏🏻
