The Best Gift You Can Give Yourself

Do something new and fresh—go on a vacation, volunteer at a soup kitchen. Get ahead of the pain so you don’t get lost in the past. So, I’d say that if you are feeling down or that everyone else is out there having the fa-la-la good time, make a decision to give someone a major act of kindness. It doesn’t have to be a lot of money, but it will require your time, presence and essence. I am telling you, this will be the biggest gift you can give to yourself. – Oprah
