In order to make space for new beginnings, healing, and growth, we must release the weights that anchor us to the past. when we are finally able to fully release these weights, we end up creating space for new experiences, relationships, and opportunities for growth and healing. Take some time to reflect on what you’re holding on to that is no longer serving you and perhaps journal about it even more deeply. Ask yourself important questions like: “How long have I been holding on to this?”, “Was there a time when holding on to this did serve me in the past?” ,“How is it negatively affecting me in the present?” ”What can i do to begin releasing my grip on this a bit?”
