Time keeps on slippin’, slippin’, slippin’ into the future– The Steve Miller Band

I had to smile that I found this article ( Commentary: Funny ‘Today Show’ video and our ever-changing world) so early on in the year. It was timely as I just placed my new 2017 daily calendar on my desk. Looking at the year 2017 I thought how far I come? and wow aren’t we supposed to be in the space age (Jetson, IRobot)? So yeah, the video of Couric and Gumbel is hilarious , but it is also sobering. The fact that they can seem so utterly clueless just 17 years later is stark evidence of the speed that things are changing. What did you think 2017 “the future” would be like? Are you amazed about how far you come?
