I received this product free for testing purposes but the opinions are 100% my own.

My little envelope of happy mail arrived shortly after the Hot Honey Hot Sauce (have you tried this yet?). The new package contained Herb’s Farm Fish Rub. To say I was excited is a freaking understatement. I started to use it right away, mainly on shrimp for all the delicious salads I made. Today I went to use it to make Lemon Tilapia and realized I was damn near out, which meant I should hold up my end of the bargain and write a review. I am a clinical social worker, but getting free goods in the mail and being asked to review someone’s product makes me feel like a chef. My first thought was “Damn, we all need this. How many times have you bought good quality seafood and thought oh now how do I season it?”
Well, this is the answer. I kid you not; the contents of the jar are parsley, cilantro, dill, chili powder, chili flake, lemon powder, garlic, onion and love. Okay, that last one is not listed, but it damn well should be. You can truly taste all the flavors and it tastes freshly harvested. Some may wish this product came with a sprinkler top to prevent cross contamination. To this I say, pour some into the lid and sprinkle as needed. The lid can be easily hand washed, dried, and replaced. I would have purchased this jar. It is 1.7oz, retails for $9, and has lasted me about a month. In my book that’s a good deal.
- 4 lemons thinly sliced
- Tilapia
- Herb Farm fish rub
- Olive oil
Preparation: Thinly cut lemons into slices. Places the first two lemons on aluminum foil in three rows. Sprinkle fish generously with rub, drizzle with olive oil, add another layer of lemons on top and cook in oven for 30 minutes or on grill until flakey.

Is there a simiiliar product for beef?
