Why people come to our lovely New Forest to lob food and drink cartons out of their windows, or, worse still, to fly tip, is beyond me

  I agree. Whenever I see someone liter I want to scream “Really was it that heavy? You mean you couldn’t carry that item until you found a receptacle?”.
