Practicum instructor evaluation of student’s competency and areas for growth _________ has definitely shown a great interest in providing direct services to patients/clients. _________ will continue to shadow and participate with our co-occurring counseling team in sessions and work towards more participation. I look forward to _________ being able to understand the theoretical approaches used with patients/clients as well as understanding her own biases, preferences, abilities, potentials strengths, and limitations as a provider. I look forward to including feedback from our co-occurring counseling team in the next evaluation of _________ in this area.

 What I know for sure as a mental health professional is that we each need to possess certain values, qualities, and sensitivities; and should be open minded and have an awareness of our comfort levels, values, biases, and prejudices. Working with the two co-occurring therapists, I learned this often occurs naturally without giving much thought to the theories that various values are derived from.
