When a client asks me a question that I don’t have an answer to, I always reply with “I don’t know, but I will find out”. I think this shows honesty and respect as no one wants to be bullshitted. It is also a good learning opportunity for the both of us- which brings me to you for help. My latest biweekly curated produce and pantry box came with a bag of chickpea flour. I am stumped about what the hell I should do with this. If you follow my culinary adventures you are aware I do not bake, and I don’t eat fried foods. My spouse, the chef, has some ideas. YES, I love him, but I thought you and I, the everyday cooks, could figure this one out. What would you make with this chickpea flour? I welcome your ideas and suggestions and as soon as I have a good one, I will whip something up and post it.

Oops 😬 having been a pastry chef and worked all other stations in restaurant kitchens I barely consider muffins baking- but I understand that it comes easier to some than others- on that note I would consider pancakes baking as well

use it instead of normal flour, or mixed with wheat flour, to prepare pasta, pancakes, bread …

Chickpea flour is gluten free and can be substituted for most things using flour.

Thank you. I was unaware of that. I think I may make a batch of waffles soon 🙂
