I went on a date last week and we really hit it off. We’ve gone on two dates and have been texting each other a lot in between the first and second date. However, after the second date, things got a bit awkward once we got back to their place. I think I just got anxious when we were in their room. I really want to see this person again but I don’t know what to say or how to ask them out. I feel like I ruined it, how do I ask them on a date?

Oh, the awkwardness and the unspoken assumptions and expectations of returning to a person place after date. I agree with Resto, I would outreach to the indidiviual, own the awkwardness, and see if they would like to go out again. What would you do?
I havent been on a date for 35 years so no idea – but sounds like you should call and be honest. Good luck

This is not my personal query, but I agree just call, as the conversation will provide a second chance or with some closure.

Own the awkwardness is the right answer

Just say what you mean. Say, let’s go out. 🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️

The query reads as if they have gone on a few dates, and in knowing that I agree with you, just ask for another date. All relationships have awkward moments, and the only way to move forward is to communicate.
