Correspondence

How late can I send a sympathy card after someone dies? Is it ever too late?

Local card business hits a sweet spot - Winnipeg Free Press

Reading this, my first thought is it is never too late, life happens, but when you remember please send a note of comfort, and don’t worry that you’re reminding your mourner of a loss they’ve forgotten.  They haven’t.

I agree. The sender might include something along the lines of, “You have been in my thoughts so often, and I hope the pain of your loss has eased a bit over the past (amount of time).”
