We dwell on the past. We worry about the future. But really, we only have now. Now is the only thing we can be sure of. And life is made of a bunch of “nows” for as long as we exist on this earth. So when I’m feeling anxious and my mind goes into a spiral of worries about what’s gonna happen next week, next month, or next year – I take a deep breath and tell myself to be here and now. Sometimes I write it down on a piece of paper as many times as I need.
