Five Senses

Bring all five senses with you on your next walk in the woods, a city park, or your neighborhood. Feel the connection of your feet in contact with the earth, notice the sky above you and all the different hues and colors of nature before you, hear the sounds of the wind and smell the aliveness of the earth. Nature is always in the present moment; resting in her rhythm and aliveness can remind us of our deep and nourishing connection with the earth. If you can’t get outdoors, consider reflecting mindfully on nature’s enduring qualities.
