7. I think that’s a fair point. I think it’s important to have realistic expectations, but I’m not sure how often we think about them in relation to the way we feel. It’s normal to experience a whole range of feelings across our lifetimes. I know for me that when I expect that I should be happy (or happier), then that makes me feel sad and disappointed. But without the expectation, I feel more free to accept my emotions for what they are.driftyness
