So many women lack self-confidence. You have to jump 30 more hurdles than the guy next to you to get to the same place. You have to be calculating you have to be checking all the singles in the room, you have to pick your space, pick your time to say something, to be something. Imagine the inherent exhaustion in all of that! I would say that you need to go for things trust your instinct and remember that luck is often a product of hard work. And be outlandish; don’t worry about what people are going to think about you. Don’t worry about failing or succeeding, just go for things because you think they’re the right thing. And don’t sit back in the back seat and be driven; get in the front seat, put the key in the ignition and drive.

Positively Purging-I welcome your feedbacks in the comments and your likes and passing the real life wisdom on to others as I embark on this new venture of “positively purging“, as I know each of these pieces represents something…
Hmmmm. I don’t know that we lack confidence. I think with growth and maturity you seem to ignore the outside noises. I believe we’ve all at some point cared about what others thought. That changes with life.

Well said. I also think ones view changes with their milieu, and by who they associate with. or to put it the words of Roy T. Bennett, “Even if you cannot change all the people around you, you can change the people you choose to be around. Life is too short to waste your time on people who don’t respect, appreciate, and value you. Spend your life with people who make you smile, laugh, and feel loved.”
