What phrase will always associate with your dad?
“Out and back in the same day” He said it every time we returned from an errand.
“Get up, Dress up, Show up” I can’t tell you how many times those words got me to class while I was in college. Who am I kidding? They still get me out of bed today. -Katie Bowen
“When we fell as kids, my dad would yell, “Safe!” and gesture like he was the umpire and we were sliding into home plate. It always made us laugh instead of cry
“Keep it down to a dull roar” I love that he knew we could never actually be quiet as kids, and he gave us a reliable expectation instead- Robyn-Hull-Arango
“You can always add more, but you can’t less” True form everything from syrup on waffles to words you can’t take back.
My Dad’s were: Do unto others as you would have others do unto you and if you can give someone a helping hand you should.
