Solace

You have found solace in counting your blessings and sharing those intangibles with others. Meditation will also allow you to connect with your ancestors, creating a space for you to acknowledge how far you have come on your path. You can conquer anything so long as the light from your forebears remains inside you.

Positively Purging-I welcome your feedbacks in the comments and your likes and passing the real life wisdom on to others as I embark on this new venture of “positively purging“, as I know each of these pieces represents something…

  1. What do you all mean when you say connect with our ancestors? Are you really talking about reaching out to the dead? And if so why? It goes against the Bible but it makes no sense in the natural either. Please explain.

“Connect with your ancestors” can mean different things to different individuals. I personally do not mean reaching out to the dead. Reconnecting with my ancestors and cultural heritage brings me a profound sense of belonging, healing and peace. Example I talk to my (deceased) grandfather often while gardening, as he was a master gardener. I speak to my (deceased) Big mama when I use her cast iron skillet, and my 92-year-old grandmother tells me stories about my ancestors during my visits reminding me I can conquer anything because many who came before me have endured worse.
