Thoughts of a Blogger: A Blogger’s Journal

My blog is chugging along. I have maybe nine members and it seems like a world of if you like me, I will like you back. That is not my style- then maybe again, we do all need to be inspired.

I started writing and posting here as a creative outlet. I soon realized that in order to gain any following, I would need to follow and engage. Your corner of the blogosphere is a consistent stop in my morning routine/ritual/devotional. Thank you for being here and doing what you do!

Thank you for the kind words, they truly mean a lot to me. I too find my blog a space of meditation, humor, and a place that allows me to pause and ponder- leaving me with many serendipitous moments as I preschedule many posts. I do think it is important to engage with others. I set aside a few hours during the week to go read other blogs and check out their Instagram posts. I am, however, not a fan of the concept of “if you ‘like’ me I will ‘like’ you,” as everything is not for everyone. I am also no longer worried about how many people like a post, because for me it is more about inspiring and allowing individuals a quick reflection, smile, laugh, good tip, or recipe.
