What specifically inspired you this time around? Are you like some artists where you’re like, I create my best work when I’m miserable or being wronged? Or are you like, I just feel inspired or I’m happy or I have something to get off my chest?
SULLIVAN: It’s about being inspired to do it. I don’t want to believe that I’m my best when I’m heartbroken, but a lot of inspiration does come from heartbreak. And it hits a different way if you are going through things personally. Especially if that’s what you like to write about—and I do write a lot of heartbreak songs, because I’ve been in a lot of bad relationships that just gave me material. Then there’s when the label says, “B–ch, it’s been six years. Just write a damn album!” [laughs] – Jazmine Sullivan

Positively Purging-I welcome your feedbacks in the comments and your likes and passing the real life wisdom on to others as I embark on this new venture of “positively purging“, as I know each of these pieces represents something…
I don’t know whether you have seen this post https://derrickjknight.com/2014/02/21/beckys-book/
The book was created during my journey of recovery from grief

I did read this post two years ago, albeit I did not leave a comment. Rereading it I find it a beautiful healing project, and a layered store of the circle of life, and a God’s grace and protection. Thank you for resharing you are a wonderful artist. I hope Becky still owns Beccy’s Book of Seasons.
